Pakistan News: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan left for Lahore High Court. The Lahore High Court on Friday directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to appear before it by 5.30 pm. A two-member bench has been constituted in the Lahore High Court to hear Imran Khan’s appeal. According to media reports, Azhar Siddiqui, associated with Khan’s legal team in Lahore, said that Imran Khan wanted protective bail against the cases filed against him in Lahore and the capital Islamabad. It is a routine matter to seek bail from the High Courts in cases filed in other cities, he added. On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court on Friday stayed till March 18 the non-bailable warrant issued for PTI President and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case. So that Imran Khan gets a chance to appear in the lower court. On the other hand, Rana Sanaullah says that the government will follow the proper legal process regarding the arrest of Imran.

In fact, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Azam Imran Khan has got a setback from the Islamabad court. The Islamabad court had asked him to appear by March 18. Imran was supposed to appear in the court on March 13, but he did not go. However, when the police reached Lahore’s Zaman Park to arrest Imran, there was a ruckus. Imran’s supporters gathered in large numbers outside his house. Police and army personnel also had to retreat in front of the supporters. Meanwhile, Imran had approached the Islamabad High Court, which had given relief till 10 am yesterday.

Meanwhile, when the warrant was not suspended, Imran Khan said that he is ready for Pakistan. It was believed from his statement that he could surrender before the court, so that the situation of violence could be avoided. Amidst all this, Imran Khan has left for the Lahore High Court.
