And BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal has given a big statement on this matter. He said that when Muslims can be given holiday on Friday, then Hindus should also be given holiday on Ram Navami.

Uproar in the House on Friday
In fact, JDU’s Khalid Anwar asked that when there is a provision in Bihar Education Code 1961 that leave can be given on Friday. In such a situation, instead of the holiday calendar, why did the government give the right to the DEO to take decisions according to the local situation. While Friday is being given a holiday for so long. These days such an atmosphere is being created in the country that a particular religion is being targeted. BJP’s Devesh Kumar and Naval Kishore Yadav objected to this and said that at the time the Education Code was made, the word secular was not included in the Preamble of the Constitution. JDU’s Neeraj Kumar said that during the 17 years in the government, the BJP did not have any objection. But soon after leaving power, the issue of Friday holiday was deliberately raised.

Education Minister replied
On the other hand, Education Minister Prof. Chandrasekhar said that according to Article 265 of the Bihar Education Code, the holiday table for schools is prepared by the District Education Establishment Committee according to the system based on the regional, geographical, social and religious environment. In order to bring uniformity in the holiday table of primary and middle schools, a symbolic holiday table is issued by the Directorate of Primary Education. In this, the District Education Officers have the right to make changes according to the local conditions in the light of Rule 265 of the Bihar Education Code.

BJP’s attack on Nitish government
BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal surrounded the Nitish government and said that the law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed. At the same time, BJP MLA Hari Bhushan Thakur’s statement of taking away the right to vote from Muslims was reprehensible and criticized it. Also appealed to the teacher voters to vote for BJP in the MLC elections.
