Akhilesh Yadav Bijli Fast: Samajwadi Party’s National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has appealed to the leaders-workers-well-wishers of his party to observe ‘Bijli Vrat’ amidst the uproar due to the power strike in UP. Akhilesh has said that till the electricity does not come, do not make personal use of alternative means of electricity like inverter or generator. Making this appeal in a tweet amid the party’s national executive meeting in Kolkata, he said that considering the power crisis the people of UP are facing, we will observe ‘Bijli Vrat’.
He said that the government has deliberately created the power crisis. The government wants power generation to stop so that the power houses can be sold to private hands. SP President said that the double engine government of BJP did not solve the problems of the employees.
Instead, by taking away the jobs of electricity employees, the government is showing false dreams of jobs to others. He said that not only the electricity department in UP, the condition of health education, PWD and all other departments is bad. No work is happening anywhere. Corruption is at its peak.
The SP chief said that the BJP government has brought the electricity department into loss. Ever since this government came, not a single power generation factory has been set up in UP. Along with the employees, BJP is also cheating the people of the state. No work has been done in power generation, transmission and distribution.
