In the Char Dham Yatra season, pilgrims from different states of the country including UP, MP, Rajasthan, Gujarat reach Uttarakhand to visit the Dhams.

After the cracks, from elders, women-men to youth are in panic after the landslide accelerated. People say that due to the lake of Tehri Dam for the Hydro Power Project, huge cracks have emerged in the National Highway, schools, residential buildings and government offices here. Land is continuously sinking in an area of ​​about 5 km from Peepalmandi, Chinyalisaur, Nagnisoud, Badethi, located on the Gangotri Highway just below the airstrip.

Airstrip, Energy Corporation, Forest Department, Hospital, private and government school buildings, Bijlwan Mohalla, Chinyalisaur market, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, State Bank, Energy Corporation office, residential buildings have come under threat due to landslides. On the other hand, THDC Deputy Manager Atul Bahuguna told that, to prevent landslides in Chinyalisaur market, Gelvin wall was installed.

The doors of Badrinath Dham will open on April 27, Kedarnath Dham on April 25. The portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open on April 22, the day of Akshaya Tritiya. The time for opening the portals of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will also be fixed on March 22, the first day of Navratri. Gangotri Temple Committee Secretary Suresh Semwal said that this time Akshaya Tritiya is falling on April 22 only. The confusion of two days will not happen this time.

Registration started for Char Dham, Darshan will not be done without registration

After Kedarnath-Badrinath, the registration process for Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham has also been started by the government. Showing strictness, the Uttarakhand government has appealed to the pilgrims to compulsorily register themselves before going on the yatra.
