Delhi Police has issued a notice to former Congress President (Rahul Gandhi) regarding Rahul Gandhi’s statement on ‘sexual harassment of women’. Now the Congress is fuming over the Delhi Police’s notice to Rahul Gandhi. Senior Congress leader and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has strongly attacked the central government, reminding of the fate of the Indira government. He said that despite Rahul Gandhi saying that he would reply to the notice, the Delhi Police reached his house. This action of Delhi Police reminds us of Indira Gandhi’s tenure. When such things happened during Indira Gandhi’s time, what were the consequences, everybody knows…
The Congress leader strongly condemned the Delhi Police’s action against Rahul Gandhi on Sunday. He termed the action of Delhi Police as the worst example of ‘political vendetta’ and ‘harassment’. Gehlot said that the central government is setting a wrong example by registering cases on the statements of opposition leaders. Please tell that Ashok Gehlot has reached Delhi in connection with the party’s preparations and consultations with the high command regarding the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan. He met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi. He had also come to meet Rahul.
