Is Selena Gomez‘s character Mabel Mora getting married on the third season of Only Murders in the Building? The actor was spotted on set in a wedding dress and later posted pictures of herself, just chilling in her gown on set. She called it just a ‘regular day at work’. Later, her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short were also photographed with Selena in the wedding dress. The official handle of the show on Twitter shared a photo of Selena on set in the gown and captioned it with a set of lyrics from a Lizzy McAlpine song Ceilings. Selena is wearing a white sleeveless wedding dress made of lace with a white veil and matching gloves. It read, “but it’s over, then you’re drivin’ me home, and it kinda comes out as I get up to go, you kiss me in your car, and it feels like the start of a movie I’ve seen before, BUT IT’S NOT REAL, AND YOU DON’T EXIST.”
The singer replied to the post on Twitter and wrote, “Period.” Fans felt the Selena looked like a princess. One Twitter user shared, “My goodness Selena looks like Snow White has been brought to life. Absolute stunning.” Another added, “Selena Gomez as Mabel Mora in a wedding dress is just too iconic.”
Sharing the photos on Instagram, Selena put up photos of herself sitting on the floor in the gown, wearing white boots. She captioned the post, “I have no caption. Just a regular day at work. @onlymurdershulu.” She recently became the first woman on the social platform to cross 400 million followers after athletes Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
It is unclear if Selena’s character Mabel will be getting married next season. A video of Selena, Steve and Martin filming on the streets of New York showed the actors rushing to catch a cab, while she was still in the gown. The trio seems to be exiting the building, the Arconia , in which they live. Steve and Martin also took photos with Selena in the wedding dress, which were shared on social media, referencing their classic 1991 film Father of the Bride.
The third season of the show will revolve around the Arconia gang trying to solve the murder of Ben Glenroy, played by Paul Rudd. Besides Paul, actors Meryl Streep, Ashley Park and Jesse Williams are also part of the cast in the upcoming season which airs on Disney+ Hotstar.
