President Draupadi Murmu
President Draupadi Murmu said on the occasion of inauguration of the new building of Jharkhand High Court in Ranchi on Wednesday that even after the decisions of the court, people do not get justice. People fight for years for each case. Time, money and sleepless nights are wasted. Some cases are final in the High Court. In some cases, the final decision is in the Supreme Court. Those in whose favor the decision comes, they are happy. But after five-ten years it is known that they did not get justice at all. It must be ensured that people get justice in real terms. I do not know how this will happen. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Law Minister, the judges and the lawyers should all work together to find a way out.
“Court has the power to deliver justice”
She said, “I was associated with a committee in the village that used to see how the family was doing after the court verdict. At that time, we found that people did not get justice even after the court verdict. But it was not implemented. I still have the list of many such people, which I will send to the Chief Justice of India. Court is the temple of justice, people look at it with faith. Court has the power to deliver justice Can give people their rights.
