Friday was a great day in the stock market. BSE Sensex climbed 629 points to close at 62,501. While the market was flat open in the morning. The Nifty on the NSE has also jumped 178 points to close at 18,499. In today’s trade, all sectors remained on the green mark with gains in PSU Bank, IT, FMCG, Media and Metal. On the other hand, Reliance, Hindalco, HCL Tech climbed, while ONGC and Grasim declined.
Reliance, Sun Pharma Hindalco and HUL saw gains of over 2% each in today’s trade. While HCL Tech, Divi’s Lab and Wipro were other major gainers in today’s trade. On the other hand, ONGC’s stock fell 1 percent and remained the top loser. On the other hand, Grasim’s stock saw a decline of 0.9%.
