Union Minister Anurag Thakur has said that Rahul cannot become like Veer Savarkar, even if he takes 10 births.

Speaking to ANI, Anurag Thakur said that the country will never forgive Rahul Gandhi for insulting Savarkar. Even if Rahul Gandhi takes 10 births, he cannot be Savarkar.
Uddhav and Sharad Pawar also uprooted
Earlier on March 28, former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray warned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi against criticizing VD Savarkar. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, CM Eknath Shinde had said that if he can, he should stay in Andaman Jail like Savarkar. After this, on Saturday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar described Savarkar as great. Pawar said he had a scientific approach and was a progressive person.
Savarkar Gaurav Yatra
Savarkar Gaurav Yatra will be organized in Maharashtra against Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Savarkar. CM Shinde said, “We will organize Savarkar Gaurav Yatra across the state to inform about the sacrifice of Savarkar.” The Chief Minister also said that insulting Veer Savarkar means insulting the people of the country.
