New Delhi: Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has made a scathing comment on the recent statements of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani. Talking to India TV, Naqvi said that it is a habit of some people to try to create an atmosphere of communal confusion from time to time. He said that one out of every 10 Muslims of the world is living in India, and is participating equally in progress with all sections of the society.
‘First improve yourself Madani’
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi further said that the problem is that Modi ji has stopped the contracting of votes. He said, ‘Now the contract for votes has been defeated, priority is being given to inclusive development. India’s culture, values, resolve are the strongest in the world. If there was Islamophobia then Indian Muslim would not have been living with success, security, prosperity. On the matter of tricking the youth, first of all Madani should reform himself. Action will be taken on whoever riots, it is not right to look at it from a communal or caste angle.
What did Maulana Madani say?
madani had said on Friday that we have failed to punish the oppressors, murderers, robbers, rather innocent people are arrested and kept in jail for long periods. He had said, ‘After 20 years, the court releases him. In case of any riots, Muslims are killed and looted and on the contrary, they are held guilty and punished. After the Babri Masjid verdict, the role of the courts has been questioned. Courts have been working under the pressure of governments for some time.
‘As much as this country belongs to Modi, so much…’
Madani had said, ‘India is our country, this country is as much Narendra Modi’s, as much as Mohan Bhagwat’s, as much as Mohammad Madani’s. They are not an inch ahead of us and we are not an inch behind them. Islam is the oldest religion of this country. Today there is an atmosphere of hatred in our country. The work of spreading baseless propaganda is being done fast and the Supreme Court is also encouraging such people by leaving them behind. They are being set free, whom we consider a threat to the country.
