Encounter in Muradnagar of Ghaziabad, Monu alias Vishal Chowdhary killed with a prize of 50 thousand
Ghaziabad : Monu alias Vishal Chowdhary, a criminal carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, was killed in a police encounter in Muradnagar, Ghaziabad. He was involved in the murder of Muradnagar mobile dealer Mukesh Goyal and electrical contractor Naveen Bhardwaj. Two policemen were also injured in this encounter.
Encounter happened near Chitora bridge of Gangnahar
This encounter took place at around 3:30 pm near Chitora bridge of Muradnagar Ganganahar. The police had received information about the sighting of some miscreants on the Gangnahar track since morning. That’s why the police had closed the Gangnahar road since morning and were engaged in combing the miscreants. Crook Monu alias Vishal Chowdhary got shot in cross firing. He was immediately brought to Muradnagar Government Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Two policemen were also injured in the encounter.
Monu was a resident of Ukhlarsi village of Muradnagar police station area
Monu alias Vishal Chowdhary was a resident of Ukhlarsi village under Muradnagar police station area. About a dozen cases including murder, gangster act were registered on this in Ghaziabad and Noida. After the recent murder of mobile trader Mukesh Goyal in Muradnagar area, the police had increased the reward amount on Monu from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000. Monu Chowdhary was the sharp shooter of the infamous Shekhar Chowdhary gang who was in jail. Terror was spread in the area of Monu, who had been continuously carrying out serious incidents.
