The Sensex opened with a gain of about 20 points in the beginning of the day, but in a short time there has been a slight decline in the market. The Sensex is currently trading at 63,141.15 with a fall of about 2 points at 9.20 am.

Talking about Sensex stocks, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 9 stocks are on the red mark. On the other hand, Tata Steel, Asian Paints, UltraTech, Tata Motors and Titan were trading the fastest. On the other hand, the shares of Bajaj Finance, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Larsen Toubro, IndusInd Bank were trading with weakness.

Yesterday the market closed with a gain of 400 points.

On Tuesday, benchmark indices Sensex rallied 418 points to hit a six-month high and Nifty closed above 18,700 on Tuesday buoyed by favorable macro-economic data on the domestic front. According to traders, vigorous buying in the shares of giants Reliance Industries and ITC also led to a boom in the stock markets. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex climbed 418.45 points, or 0.67 percent, to 63,143.16 points. At one point during the trading, it also saw a jump of 452.76 points. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) also closed at 18,716.15 points with a gain of 114.65 points, or 0.62 percent.

US market rises on hope of relief from Fed

The Federal Reserve is scheduled to announce interest rates tonight in the US. This time it is expected that the Fed will put a stop to the continuous interest hike. With this expectation, buying was seen in the US markets today. The Nasdaq closed up nearly 1 percent, up 111 points. The Dow also gained 146 points. At the same time, there has been a boom in the Asian markets as well. Nikkei is seen around 33,307.43 with an increase of 0.87 percent. At the same time, it is showing an increase of 0.84 percent in the Strait Times. Taiwan’s market is trading at 17,197.10, falling 0.11 percent.
