Several people have been injured after a bus met with an accident in Mongri area of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. The bus was going from Udhampur to Mongri. The driver lost control, causing the bus to skid off the road and overturned. Police is present on the spot.

Last year in the month of October also a terrible bus accident took place in Udhampur of Jammu and Kashmir. One person died in the road accident while 67 people were injured. The injured were admitted to Udhampur hospital. The accident took place at Mansar Mor in Udhampur. At that time also it was told that the driver suddenly lost control of the bus and the bus full of passengers fell into the gorge.
7 soldiers were martyred
In the month of August last year, a major accident took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Here a bus full of ITBP jawans fell into the river. 7 soldiers were martyred in the accident. Many jawans were injured. The condition of many of the injured jawans was critical, so they were airlifted to Srinagar for better treatment.
There were a total of 39 jawans in the bus.

This accident happened due to brake failure of the bus and these jawans were going from Chandanwadi towards Pahalgam. These were the same jawans who were on duty in the Amarnath Yatra.
