Bajrang Dal’s national convenor Neeraj Doneria has appealed to the government to change the name of Ahmedabad soon. Bajrang Dal has not only requested to change the name of Ahmedabad, one of the important cities of Gujarat, but has also suggested a new name. The national convenor of Bajrang Dal has demanded to change the name of Ahmedabad to Karnavati.

Name change from Rajpath to Mughal Garden
Let us tell you that the Central Government has recently changed the name of the Mughal Garden of Rashtrapati Bhavan to “Amrit Udyan”. At the same time, last year, the Modi government also renamed the historic Rajpath and it is now known as Kartavya Path. Along with renaming Rajpath last year, it has also been beautified. Also last year, the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh renamed Habibganj railway station as Rani Kamalapati railway station after the famous Gond queen, while Hoshangabad district, about 80 km from Bhopal, was renamed as Narmadapuram.

Changed name of Bhopal’s Islam Nagar
Let us tell you that recently the Madhya Pradesh government has also changed the name of the historic Islam Nagar located near the state capital Bhopal to Jagdishpur. Jagdishpur was the earlier name of this area. An official gave this information on Thursday. A gazette notification announcing the name change was issued on Wednesday after approval from the central government. Expressing anger over this, the opposition Congress said that such acts are being done by the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state to divert the attention of the people from corruption and lack of development. Islam Nagar was the capital of the princely state of Bhopal established by the Afghan-Mughal ruler Dost Mohammad Khan.
