Actually, Chitra Zutshi, deputy manager of Hero MotoCorp, who was a paraplegic (suffering from legs and lower body paralysis) since birth, had a dream of riding a Harley bike. To fulfill this dream, she participated in the West Job Competition organized by Hero MotoCorp and was successful. He was made the brand manager for the Harley-Davidson business unit at Hero MotoCorp. Let us tell you that Hero MotoCorp and America’s famous two-wheeler manufacturer Harley-Davidson, both are jointly making bikes in India. Both the companies are soon going to launch an affordable bike in India.

Chitra’s dreams were difficult to fulfill

After Chitra was made the brand manager for the Harley-Davidson business unit, it was tough for Hero to make her dream come true. However, Hero’s team did not give up and did what no one believed. The team at Hero MotoCorp, in keeping with its mission to create, collaborate and inspire, did everything possible to enable Chitra to realize her dream. In this, Rajputana Customs helped the team customize the Harley-Davidson Road King. For this, two auxiliary wheels were mounted at the rear of the bike, which made Chitra’s dream come true.

an inspiration to all of us

At an event at Hero’s Global Center for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Hero MotoCorp Chairman Dr. Pawan Munjal presented a three-wheeler Harley-Davidson Road King to Chitra and said that Chitra is ‘an inspiration to all of us’. He promises that one day he will enjoy the bike with Chitra on the back seat.
