New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party, TMC and Congress Party will not be present at the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House to be held on 28 May. According to the information coming from the sources, Congress party and TMC will boycott this function. Along with this, the Aam Aadmi Party will also boycott this inauguration ceremony. Let us tell you that on May 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament House.
In a tweet, Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said, “Not inviting Her Excellency President Mrs. Draupadi Murmu to the inauguration ceremony of the Parliament House is a gross insult. It is an insult to the Dalit tribal and deprived society of India.” The Aam Aadmi Party will boycott the inauguration program in protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi not inviting His Excellency the President.”
At the same time, TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien also tweeted that he is out of the program. He wrote, “Parliament is not just a new building; it is an establishment with age-old traditions, values, precedents and rules. It is the foundation of Indian democracy. PM Modi does not understand this. For him, Sunday is a new day.” The opening of the building is all about me, me, myself. So count us out of it.”
Along with this, TMC Lok Sabha MP Saugata Roy said that I have come to know that our Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien has tweeted that TMC has decided to boycott the inauguration of the new Parliament House. The reason is that we feel that the President should inaugurate the Parliament and not the Prime Minister. It is against the constitution.
