Kanker: Seven school students traveling in an auto-rickshaw were killed when a truck hit them in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district on Thursday. Police officials gave this information. Police officials said that seven school children died after being hit by a truck in Korer police station area of the district. All the children were between 5 and 8 years old. According to the information received by the police, eight school children studying in a private school were going to their home in an auto rickshaw. When the school children were on their way, their auto rickshaw was hit by a truck. The accident was so gruesome that the auto was blown away.
2 injured students also died during treatment
The children studied in BSNN Digital Public School. The accident happened near Chilhati Chowk in Korer on Thursday. Five children died on the spot while three children and the auto rickshaw driver were injured in the incident, police said. Police officials said that after getting information about the incident, a police team was sent to the spot and the bodies and the injured were sent to the district hospital. He said that two other injured students have also died during treatment. At the same time, another student and auto rickshaw driver are being treated.
