Even during the trailer launch of Frazi, Shahid had talked about working with Vijay and said that working with him was nothing less than a ‘privilege,’ and that he wishes to work more with him.

During the chat with Shehnaaz he was asked whether he asked for more dialogues than Vijay, to which Shahid replied, “Nahi actually aisa kuch bhi nahi he, kyuki OTT show jo hota he woh puri duniya mein ek saath hi release hoti he toh jitni audience usko dekh paaye utni acchi baat he aur har actor ki ek reach hoti he jaha tak woh pahucha hota he aur Vijay Sir ki jo pohunch he woh meri nahi he, Hindi mein main jyada kaam karta hu… toh I think jab hum dono saath mein kaam kar rahe ho toh ek wider audience ise dekh payegi aur kai baar aisa hota he na ki jin logo na aapko nahi dekha hota he ki woh is wajah se agar aapko deekh paye toh.. are yaar iska aur kaam bhi dekh sakte he… so usme faayda hi hota he (No there’s nothing like that because OTT shows release everywhere at once, so as many can see the show as an audience works better, and as an actor we have a certain reach. Vijay Sir’s reach is different than mine. I work in Hindi films… so I think when both of us come together a wider audience can see the show and most times it happens that for this reason, they spot a different guy and see their work.. so there’s only profit).”

Shahid added that Vijay and him collaborating for a show like Farzi is “good for the product,” and “good for the audience.” Also, starring Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Regina Cassandra and Bhuvan Arora, Farzi premiered on February 10.
