Dispute between Kejriwal and LG may increase again, order to remove two AAP leaders from DISCOM board

New Delhi: Once again in Delhi, the tussle between the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena is expected to increase once again. In fact, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered the removal of two Aam Aadmi Party leaders from the DISCOM board.

Making allegations, Aam Aadmi Party leaders Jasmine Shah and Naveen Gupta have been removed from the board. Jasmine Shah is the spokesperson of AAP while Naveen Gupta is the son of the party’s Rajya Sabha MP ND Gupta.

Jasmin Shah and Naveen Gupta were illegally inducted as government representatives on the private discom boards. The LG has ordered the removal of these two leaders and appointment of government officials in their place.

After this step of LG, once again the politics of Delhi is expected to heat up. In recent times, the tussle between the LG and the Kejriwal government has increased considerably. Be it the matter of the election of the school mayor or the matter of sending teachers to Finland for training. It has been alleged by the Kejriwal government that obstacles are being created by the Lieutenant Governor in his work.
