New Delhi: ED’s action continues in the Delhi Excise scam. In this case, ED has arrested three people in the last one week. ED has arrested an accused named Raghav Magunta in this case. The accused Raghav is the son of YSR Congress Party MP Magunta Srinivasulu. It is being told that the arrested accused is the owner of a company named Balaji Group.
Gautam Malhotra has been arrested
Earlier, ED had arrested Gautam Malhotra on 8 February. Gautam Malhotra is the son of former Akali Dal MLA Deep Malhotra. Gautam is accused of money laundering and is the director of Oasis Group, a large liquor manufacturing company. According to the information received, Gautam will be produced in the court of Delhi, where the ED can demand to take him into custody. Explain that Gautam is associated with liquor business in Punjab and other areas.
A CA has also been arrested from Hyderabad.
Along with this, on Wednesday itself, the CBI had arrested Chartered Accountant Buchibabu Gorantla from Hyderabad in connection with the alleged scam in the new excise policy of the Delhi government.
