There is a possibility of change in the schedule of the ongoing four-match Test series between India and Australia. In fact, the third match of the series is to be played at the HPCA i.e. Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala from March 1 to 5, but after the recent renovation here, this ground is not considered fit to host an international match. . According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, the BCCI will take a final call in the next few days based on the results of the ground inspection by the board’s team of experts. The BCCI has already shortlisted the back-up venue, but it will be announced only if Dharamsala is stripped of the hosting rights.
Talking about backup venues, it is being told that Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Pune and Indore have been shortlisted for the third test. If the Dharamshala ground fails during inspection by the board’s experts, then the third test can be shifted to these grounds.

The last international match at this ground in Dharamshala was played in T20 format between India and Sri Lanka in February last year. No cricket has been played at this ground since then as the HPCA decided to relaunch the outfield and fit a new drainage system. It is understood that the outfield is still not ready, and is interspersed with a bald patch where the grass cover is yet to take hold.
Let us tell you, the first match of this four-match Test series is going on in Nagpur. The first two days of this Test match were named after India. Team India has scored 321 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the first innings after the guest Australia was bundled out for 177 runs. India now has a lead of 144 runs over the Kangaroos.
The second Test of the series is to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi and the last match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
