Lalu Prasad Yadav: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav is returning to India from Singapore on Saturday, months after his kidney transplant operation. Lalu will come to Delhi from Singapore and then go to Patna. Lalu is said to be healthy after kidney transplant and is ready to come to India. Lalu’s kidney transplant operation was successful. Lalu’s younger daughter Rohini Acharya donated a kidney to her father and then Lalu’s kidney was transplanted. Now Lalu’s health is better. His daughter Rohini Acharya informed about Lalu’s return to Patna on Twitter. He tweeted and wrote, take care of my father. Rohini urges the housemates to “take care of papa”. Along with this, Rohini has asked her followers to “be careful while meeting Lalu Yadav”.

Sharing her picture with Lalu, Rohini wrote, “I have an important announcement regarding the health of our respected leader Lalu ji. Papa is going to India from Singapore on February 11. Lalu is battling with many health problems

RJD chief Lalu Yadav has been suffering from various health problems for a long time and the doctors treating him had advised a kidney transplant last October. In December, his daughter Rohini Acharya donated her kidney to him. Moments before the surgery, she said, “Ready to rock and roll, wish me luck”. He had expressed his feelings amidst overwhelming response saying that it is a “piece of meat”.

Rohini is the second daughter of Lalu Yadav. Lalu Yadav, 74, was hospitalized several times while serving his jail sentence in corruption cases. He was out on bail in five fodder scam cases after the Jharkhand High Court granted him bail in April. In October, the court allowed him to travel abroad for a kidney transplant and his passport was also renewed by the court.
