San Francisco: Search engine Mozilla Firefox has brought one of the best features for its users. Mozilla has launched a new feature for Android and has named it Total Cookie Protection (TCP). This feature will work to protect users from trackers. With its help, it will help to stop the ads coming during browsing.

As reported by TechCrunch, this feature will block cross-site tracking by default. This will prevent trackers from collecting data about your browsing behavior for advertising. TCP on Android has started rolling out for users and will be available to everyone by the end of next month.

TCP was launched in 2021

In 2021, TCP was introduced, but it was only available in Firefox’s Advanced Tracking Protection Mode (ETP), so users manually selected that protection level to prevent cookie-based tracking.

Last year, the company made TCP available and turned on by default in all modes on Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux, the report said. Meanwhile, Mozilla has added three new extensions for its Android web browser to enhance the browsing experience of its users.

These extensions include hiding a user’s email address when signing up to a website, removing tracking elements before sharing a URL, and listening to an article. The company said it plans to expand the feature to all users and more sites later this year.
